The company founders Josef Leitner and Wolfgang Kraus have been working as clarinet makers for almost 50 years. In 1993 they founded their own company with the aim of producing high-quality, hand-made clarinets.
The next generation is now running the family business, so that we can guarantee that every clarinet that leaves our workshop is a unique masterpiece.
The Leitner & Kraus company and its employees do everything they can to manufacture their instruments, from the E flat clarinet to the bass clarinet, in the best quality.
Due to this endeavor, the manufactory develops its own mouthpieces in order to achieve the best possible results with the instruments.
